Family Literacy Day

Thank you to all families who participated in our Family Literacy Day activities. There were lots of house points earned from the passports, and our library now has several more books. We hope that all children who received a new book are enjoying reading it!

 

Lower School Field Trip

The Lower School will be attending a ballet performance of 'Cinderella' on Friday, February 10, at the Jubilee Auditorium in Calgary. More information will be sent home next week.

 

School Bus Notice – February 10

All buses will depart from Edison later than usual on the afternoon of Friday, February 10, due to the Lower School field trip. Buses may be running up to half an hour late on this day. We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause.

Lower School Edison Excellence Awards

Mrs. Carter: Jia K. for being a wonderful friend and having such a positive and determined attitude, and Teegan E. for developing such a positive attitude towards academics.

Miss Boraas: Avery K. for fantastic effort in math, Payton M. for excellence in reading comprehension, and Ian L. for always completing assignments with excellent quality.

Mrs. Palmer: Evonne H. for fantastic basketball skills, and Lily P. for excellent story predictions.

Mrs. Daly: Cole H. for an expressive, entertaining, and confident poem presentation, and Dakota W. for being inventive and creative in Science.

Mrs. Mattson: Isabella V-H. for her excellent work ethic, and Matthew M. for getting 100% on every spelling test this year.

Mr. Lawson: Bijan Z. for an outstanding poem recitation, and Mira S. for kindness in the classroom.
